Troubleshooting

If the receiver and transmitter cannot operate normally, try the following steps:

  • Device not responding: Check wiring and power (indicator light should flash). Ensure transmitter batteries are not depleted. Verify correct pairing. Check distance and obstacles.
  • Intermittent operation: Ensure antenna is not obstructed. Minimize RF interference.
  • Device turns ON/OFF unexpectedly: May indicate interference or incorrect mode. Re-pair and select correct mode.
  • Receiver module gets hot: Connected device current exceeds 2A maximum load. Reduce load.

Maintenance

  • Battery replacement (transmitter): Replace with 2x CR2016 batteries when range decreases. Open casing, replace with correct polarity.
  • General care: Keep dry and away from extreme temperatures. Avoid dropping. Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
